Elk Creek School is a court school program operated by the Del Norte County Office of Education in the Del Norte County Juvenile Hall and located in the county juvenile hall facility. Elk Creek serves incarcerated youth, grades 6-12, and is a full-day program operating throughout the year. Elk Creek offers a low teacher-student ratio, customized curriculum to scaffold and remediate academic areas of weakness and character education
Elk Creek School is a court school. Most of our parent contact takes place at Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) and transition planning meetings. There is little opportunity for parents to be directly involved with the school.
